I'm fundraising for MATES in Construction

I am excited to announce that throughout April, I will be taking on the physical and fundraising challenge of the MATES Long Lap 2025.

You are not alone is something I firmly believe in when it comes to mental
health. That is why I will not be taking this challenge on alone.

By igniting hope for our mates, we make the world a better place. We feel supporting 'MATES Long Lap' is important not only for the Construction community, but also for everyone's well-being.

There will be regular updates throughout the month to keep you all up to date on the Long Lap progress. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference and help MATES continue their crucial work.

Thank you for joining us and MATES on this journey towards a healthier and more aware community.

My Journey

These statistics break my heart.

In 2024, 617 people died by suspected suicide in New Zealand.

Mental Health affects approximately 47% percent of people in New Zealand, yet it is still ignored or "shut down" by some.

If you do not suffer from mental health, i can nearly guarantee you know someone who does.

Me, personally i have suffered from mental health issues in the past. Its a tough road, and you need as much support as you can get, and not be shamed for reaching out.

This is why i am taking on the Long Lap 2025 challenge. Its time we stamped out the negative stigma that surrounds mental health and start supporting, our mates and simply asking - What do you need from me? A walk, a coffee, a round of golf - anything to show support for your mates.
